SALT AND PEPPER GRAY HAIR EXTENSIONS
In 2022, I designed, developed and launched the market's first salt and pepper human hair extensions, designed to be inclusive for individuals with gray hair, whether they belong to an older demographic or experience early graying. Everyone deserves to wear extensions! Before this launch, many doubted there was a market for salt and pepper hair extensions; however, within two years, we sold over 4,200 units, and, other brands quickly started to replicate the unique color and blend I created.
This collection had 30 SKUs, launching in all hair extension methods.

ACQUIRED STYLE PINK VELCRO ROLLERS
I designed and launched the viral pink roller kit in collaboration with influencer Acquired Style. Within two years, we sold 12,000 units, far exceeding our initial sales projections. This collaboration was Luxy Hair’s first influencer partnership and became the fifth top-selling product across all categories in 2022 and 2023. Due to its phenomenal success, the limited contract was renewed for multiple years and continues to perform well to date. This product attracted 90% new customers to the Luxy brand.

HOLIDAY ACCESSORY ORNAMENTS
I designed the accessories and packaging for Luxy Hair's first holiday product launch, designed to be the perfect gift for the festive season. This collection included three hanging ornaments: the Mama and Mini Scrunchie Set, the Metallic Braided Hair Ties, and the Creaseless Clips, each packaged in unique, hangable ornament boxes. Additionally, I created tinsel clip-in extensions to add sparkle and flair to any holiday look, presented in a beautiful and durable round box that could later be repurposed for keepsakes.

BRIDAL ACCESSORIES COLLECTION
I designed the first Luxy Hair Bridal Collection, featuring bridal accessories designed for brides-to-be who often purchase their first hair extensions for their wedding festivities. This included baby's breath-inspired hair pins, a white hair extension carrier case, and the perfect white and blue skinny scrunchies. Additionally, I designed customized box packaging that embodied our something blue bridal theme.

VEGAN ACTION CERTIFICATION FOR WETLINE
Led the initiative to achieve Vegan Action Certification for a six product haircare line, overseeing a meticulous approval process that spanned over a year. I collaborated closely with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, formulation labs, and raw material vendors to ensure compliance with stringent criteria, showcasing our dedication to ethical and sustainable product standards. I also obtained the Leaping Bunny cruelty free certification for our wetline.

BALAYAGE HAIR SHADE EXPANSION
I expanded Luxy Hair's balayage range to become the largest offering among clip-in hair extension brands. Working closely with our vendors, I enhanced the balayage blend to achieve a flawless, hand-painted appearance that matches salon-quality results. Additionally, I introduced the industry's first red balayage hair extensions. These 7 new balayage colors collectively generated $3.4 million in sales during 2022 and 2023.
This collection had 88 SKUs, launching in all hair extension methods.


HAUL-IDAY WEEKENDER BAG
I designed and launched the viral Haul-iday Weekender Bag, a favorite of influencer and it-girl Alix Earle. She featured the bag in TikToks that collectively garnered millions of likes and tens of millions of views.

BALAYAGE AND HIGHLIGHT BUN EXTENSION
I developed the balayage and highlights technique specifically tailored to compliment the bun hair extensions. Despite initial complications related to the piece's construction, I successfully achieved a beautiful blend in the final product.
This collection had 22 SKUs.

CELLULOSE ACETATE CLOUD COMB
I designed the wide-tooth cloud comb to be made of cellulose acetate, a biodegradable and recyclable material. To make this product perfect for on-the-go use, I designed a faux Saffiano leather pouch to protect while in your bag or purse. Initially, achieving the desired structured and luxurious feel for the pouch was challenging, but I resolved this by incorporating cardboard, ensuring it maintained its shape.
